Mark Owen has been a MEEMIC Agent since August of 1996. He graduated from DeWitt High School in 1977 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He is licensed with the state of Michigan to sell property and casualty insurance.

Mark's educational career includes time as a teacher, coach, and technology coordinator. Mark has served over twenty five years in public education. Mark and his wife Marla (also a 2nd Grade teacher) are the proud parents of Mark, Jr., age 19 and Tyler, age 14. Mark Jr. is currently a student at Mott Community College studying business (and working part-time in dad's office) while Tyler is a freshman at Davison playing basketball, baseball and studying hard!

Patty Russell is a Customer Service Representative and Office Manager working for Mark in his office. She has 16 years of insurance experience as well as a license in property and casualty insurance.

Patty worked and lived much of her life in Troy, Michigan. She moved to Lapeer Michigan in 1995 with her two sons Derek and Devin. Patty and her sons enjoy the area. Patty started working for the Owen Agency in the spring of 2004 and to quote Patty, "I am working in a field that I enjoy and with a company that has been very friendly to me." Mark is very happy to have Patty as a member of his agency team.

Jamie Combs grew up and graduated from Imlay City Community School. She now resides in Davison. Jamie is an active member of the Assembly of God church teaching "Kid's Church", coaching softball, is on the worship team and is event coordinator for the "Young Adult's Group". She is also involved in Habitat for Humanity, Holiday Depot and The Refuge Homeless Shelter. Jamie's care for her community is reflected in her care for our clients!

Cathy Newberry. Cathy began her career in the field of insurance at the AS Arbury & Sons Insurance Company in Midland. After moving to the Auburn Hills area, Cathy worked at our home MEEMIC office as an underwriter. Both experiences did a lot in preparing Cathy to fit in very well in our both our Davison and Mt. Morris offices. Cathy has two children, son Justin age 8 and daughter Julia age 7. Cathy is a devoted mom who cares greatly about her family. We find Cathy very easy to work with and very helpful to our clients

Gabe Stephenson is our receptionist and part-time office employee. Gabe is a graduate of Davison High School and is a student at U of M Flint.

Speaking of our office - we recently moved to 9218 Lapeer Road! We doubled our square footage and added another phone line to improve our service. Our goal is to give immediate assistance to our clients as well as spend as much time as necessary with each of our clients. No question is too small and our clients are very important to us.
